Start with what you have

Upload images or video of the room, the documents that describe it and any 3D assets you already own. Atom reads them together and builds the space as separate objects with recovered materials and a fitted camera. One photograph is enough to start. The kitchen and the workbench each came from one.

Refine it in conversation

Ask Atom to move the counter, change the light, raise the camera or put the robot on the other side of the bench. Each change edits the scene, not a picture of it. Assumptions about scale, mass and friction are listed beside the scene and can be corrected before a run.

  • Geometry, materials, lighting, robot placement and cameras, all editable in chat.
  • Loose props move by default. Authored assemblies keep their parts together.
  • Mass, friction and robot placement need calibration before anything is tried on hardware. The scene says so.

Real physics, declared estimates

The scene compiles to a MuJoCo model. Custom scenes run a rigid-object lift task: the object you choose must reach a set height while both fingertip pads touch it for half a second. Two starters ship with the platform: an office desk reconstructed from RoboArena with an original and a shifted layout, and a factory cell with a moving conveyor where you write the task.

  • MuJoCo 3.3.2 with a 20 Hz control loop. Reference robot: Franka Panda with a Robotiq 2F-85 gripper.
  • Lift predicate with a required height and a half-second dual-pad contact check.
  • Custom scenes render with MuJoCo RGB. The admitted office reconstruction renders with Cycles.

Yours to keep

Built environments keep their editable Blender scene, GLB, images and source. Nothing is locked to our viewer. Open the kitchen here in the browser, then download the same file and open it in Blender. Robot meshes keep their upstream Menagerie licenses, and environments are private to the workspace owner.
